IM ABLE Foundation Sports Protection Policy
Effective Date: September 30, 2025Â
The IM ABLE Foundation is committed to creating safe, respectful, and empowering environments where athletes, veterans, volunteers, and participants of all abilities can thrive. We take very seriously our responsibility to safeguard our programs, services, and events from misconduct, including—but not limited to—physical abuse, sexual abuse, harassment, and other inappropriate behaviors.
To uphold this commitment, IM ABLE has established this Sports Protection Policy to:
- Strengthen awareness across our community and provide clear education on recognizing and preventing misconduct.
- Build effective detection and protection systems that help us respond swiftly and consistently to concerns.
- Create strong entry barriers that deter and prevent individuals with harmful intent from accessing our programs.
This policy applies to all IM ABLE Foundation programs, events, and services, including those involving athletes, veterans, staff, volunteers, and contractors.
Reporting Misconduct
We strongly encourage the reporting of all inappropriate behavior or suspected misconduct. Prompt reporting is essential to protecting our community and ensuring accountability.
- Cases involving sexual abuse or molestation must be immediately reported to local law enforcement authorities. Notifying IM ABLE Foundation does not replace this obligation.
- To report any form of misconduct connected to IM ABLE Foundation programs, services, or events, please click the reporting button below or contact our office directly.
Our Commitment
By working together, we can uphold IM ABLE’s mission of removing obstacles and redefining what is possible in sports and recreation. Protecting the safety and dignity of our athletes and participants is not only a legal responsibility but also a reflection of our core values.
