What a difference a day makes. We have made the difficult decision to postpone the BASH.
This was not an easy decision and there are some of you who will certainly question it. I imagine there are as many of you, if not more, who are relieved. I will always be a Marine at heart. We rush in first and ask questions later. What’s going on in the world right now is bigger than IM ABLE, bigger than a fundraising event. It is our responsibility, ours and yours, to do everything we can to prevent this from becoming a health crisis beyond what it already is.
At this time, we are planning on holding the event at a later date, to be determined.
Please share this with your friends and guests.
For the last 13 years, the IM ABLE Foundation has been removing obstacles that prevent people with disabilities from being physically active.
At the BASH on March 14, 2020, community members join athletes of all abilities for an evening to celebrate grit, grind, struggle, perseverance, determination, and accomplishment. Over 500 people come together to redefine what is possible by raising funds to empower athletes with challenges throughout the year.
Doors open at 7:00PM with a keynote address by Kirstie Ennis, music by Blue Label, “Motivator of the Year” awards, and food prepared by local restaurants.
This year’s BASH fundraiser is completely free to attend. On March 14th, Masano AutoPark is going to be the place to be. Invite your friends. Let’s introduce them to the adaptive athletes we’ve been in awe of since the first time we saw them accomplishing the impossible. Yes, we hope you’re inspired to support the Foundation by what you see, hear, and experience at the BASH. But for right now, just sign up below.
