Monies raised through IM ABLE Foundation events support adaptive programs and individuals who want to be physically active despite their disabilities. We grant adaptive equipment to qualifying individuals, and are continuously working with our community partners to broaden our offerings of Adaptive Fitness, adaptive sports clinics, and programs. Equipment for someone with a disability is far more expensive than that used by an able bodied individual. Some examples:

Single handcycle – $3,000-$10,000+
Mono ski – $3,600
Racing chair – $2,500.

Some families with disabled children find it impossible to purchase this equipment, so an IM ABLE grant can help offset the cost or provide the equipment at no charge.
